Energy Imbalance in the Industrial Sector Persists / Potential for Solar Power Plants Adjacent to Industries
The President of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture stated that today, industries and economic actors in this sector are facing challenges in production and energy supply, an issue that must be addressed urgently, as emphasized by the esteemed governor.
EghtesadOnline: In a meeting of the Government-Private Sector Dialogue Council in Isfahan, Amir Keshani highlighted the difficulties faced by the industrial sector in securing energy, particularly during the colder months. He noted that the issue of using mazut (a heavy fuel oil) is also under discussion; this occurs despite living in a province rich in clean energy resources, which could alleviate many of these challenges.
He added that solar power plants can be strategically located alongside industries in the province. All relevant agencies and organizations can assist in their establishment. By utilizing clean energy and implementing appropriate plans, as emphasized by the governor of Isfahan, we may reduce the energy-related challenges faced by the private sector and economic actors across various domains.
The President of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce indicated that such meetings aim to identify issues, propose solutions, and address the problems faced by Isfahan's economic actors. He noted that the governor has promised to follow up on these matters. The Isfahan Management and Planning Organization has been tasked with identifying key economic indicators based on the resolutions of the Government-Private Sector Dialogue Council and providing updated and comprehensive information to provincial managers.
He continued that this approach fosters collaboration regarding management strategies and planning for the development of these indicators, enabling us to make effective decisions.
Keshani listed important indicators such as production levels, inflation rates, unemployment figures, student enrollment numbers, business rankings, and human resource development. He expressed concern that despite a month having passed since the resolution from the Government-Private Sector Dialogue Council, its full implementation has yet to be witnessed. He hopes that, in light of the governor's remarks on serious efforts from all sectors to address issues beyond mere rhetoric, we will soon see the execution of this important resolution.
