
Iran's foreign minister due in Uganda for talks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to travel to Uganda to participate in the 19th Interim Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Esmaeil Baghaei, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced the visit of Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to Uganda with the aim of participate in the 19th Interim Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement.
The senior Iranian diplomat noted that the main slogan of this summit has been declared as "Deepening Cooperation for Greater Global Prosperity," adding that foreign ministers and diplomatic delegations from more than 120 member countries of the movement will attend.
According to Baghaei, during this meeting, in addition to general discussions and the announcement of the positions of the Non-Aligned Movement member states, a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement's Palestine Committee will also be held with the presence of the member states, including the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In addition to explaining the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the general meeting of foreign ministers, Araghchi will also hold meetings with his counterparts from various countries on the sidelines of the meeting./mehr
