Russian President Receives Message from Ayatollah Khamenei

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday and relayed a message from Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

During the meeting, held in Moscow on Thursday evening, Larijani and Putin also discussed bilateral relations as well as the economic, regional, and international cooperation between Iran and Russia.

The visit came two weeks after the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between Iran and Russia, signed in Moscow on January 16, 2025 by the presidents of the two countries, entered into force.

The conclusion of the treaty reflects the determination of the leaders of both countries to deepen relations and strengthen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, on the basis of mutual respect, good-neighborliness, and the shared interests of the two nations./tasnim
