IRGC Dismantles Israeli-Linked Subversive Network in Iran
The Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced the detection and dismantling of a subversive network operating under the guidance of the US and Zionist intelligence services inside Iran.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the IRGC Intelligence Organization said that through precise monitoring and intelligence efforts, a subversive network directed by American and Israeli spy agencies has been identified and neutralized after a series of observation and control operations.
The statement added that, following the Israeli regime’s defeat in the 12-day war, Tel Aviv --acting as Washington’s proxy in the region-- shifted its strategy toward disrupting public security in an attempt to compensate for its dismal military failure.
The Zionist regime had established a network of deceived and treacherous elements aimed at undermining Iran’s security during autumn, the statement said, adding that the members of this network were detected, placed under surveillance, and subsequently arrested by God’s grace and the vigilance of the IRGC intelligence forces.
According to the statement, the coordinated operation was conducted across several provinces of Iran, during which affiliated cells connected to the Zionist regime —seeking to carry out acts harmful to national security— were struck and dismantled./tasnim
