Tehran Urges EU Action over Israel’s Criminal Conduct in Region

Iran’s foreign minister used a Friday call with the EU’s top diplomat to denounce Israeli regime’s continued breaches of international law across the region.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi spoke with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas in a phone call focused on Iran-EU relations and wider regional and international issues including Israel’s criminal conduct in the region.

Araqchi condemned the Israeli regime’s ongoing violations of international law, citing continued military aggressions in occupied Palestinian territories and in Lebanon.

He said the scale and persistence of these criminal actions underscore the responsibility of the international community to take effective steps to the regime’s crimes.

The discussion also covered Iran’s nuclear file, with Araqchi outlining Tehran’s positions on the matter.
