Iran Lab Expo 2025 opens in Tehran, showcasing homegrown technologies

The exhibition has begun its activities with the support of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, marking another milestone in Iran’s efforts to promote innovation-driven growth.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science, Technology and the Knowledge-Based Economy.

The fair will run until December 16 at the Tehran International Exhibition center.

Over the past 12 editions, the expo has played a key role in the formation of nearly 1,000 knowledge-based and technology-oriented companies, contributing to the localization and self-sufficiency of more than 20,000 laboratory instruments and materials used by researchers nationwide.

In its 13th edition, more than 270 Iranian knowledge-based companies are presenting around 10,500 products and auxiliary data-x-items related to laboratory equipment and materials.

The exhibition is organized into 14 specialized sections, covering fields such as oil and petrochemicals, electronics, software and simulators, civil engineering, mechanical and metallurgical engineering, agriculture and environment, basic physics, medical engineering, biotechnology materials, industrial testing equipment, and calibration services./irna
