Afghanistan emphasizes expanding trade activities with Iran

Afghan Minister of Industry and Commerce Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi has said that his country is willing to enhance trade-economic ties with Iran.

Speaking in an interview with TOLO News, he stressed the need to expand and broaden trade and economic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Stating that Afghanistan’s trade value with Iran has increased up to $500 million, he noted that no country can restrict Afghanistan’s trade with other countries in the world.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Azizi pointed to the US sanctions imposed against Afghanistan, highlighting that Afghanistan can do business with any country it wishes.
