Iran to give firmer response to any new US-Israeli aggression

The president made the remarks in a recent interview with the website of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Khamenei.ir.

Saying that Iran is more powerful as compared to the time of US-Israeli aggression, Pezeshkian explained that "Our dear military forces are doing their jobs with strength and are now stronger in terms of equipment and manpower, despite all the problems we have, than when they attacked. So if they want to strike, they will naturally face a more decisive response."

He stressed preserving the unity of the nation as a better choice in the face of potential aggression, saying that "If we, the people, are together and united, they will be dissuaded not to o come and attack our country again."

As regards the relations with other nations, Pezeshkian said Iran has not better ties with its neighbors.

"Regarding the corridors (railway links in Iran which are part of international corridors), which are very important, we will complete the Astara-Rasht, Shalamcheh-Basra, and most likely Zahedan-Chabahar corridors this year. If all goes well, God willing, we will complete the work related to these corridors this year," he highlighted./mehr
