Over 450m tons of goods transported in Iran in 9 months

An official at Iran Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization says 454.1 million tons of different types of goods have been transported by the domestic transportation fleet in the first nine months of the current year.

Director General of Roads Maintenance and Transportation Organization Mehrdad Hamdollahi emphasized that 454.1 million tons of various types of goods and commodities were transported by domestic transportation fleet between March 21 and December 22, 2025, showing a 2.6 percent growth compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

Of total goods transported, more than 151 million tons of goods related to the mineral and construction goods while the rest belonged to the agricultural, livestock and food products, he added./mehr
