Iran’s steel output up in 9-month period

Iran’s total volume of steel production recorded a hike during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2025).

The country’s total steel production increased between March 21 and December 22, 2025, showing a 1.1 percent growth in volume, compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

In this period, production volume of sponge iron, iron ore concentrate and iron ore conglomerate registered a 12.2, 7.7 and 2.3 percent growth, respectively./mehr
