News ID: 2002624

In their statement issued on Tuesday, signatories strongly denounced Trump’s degrading remarks that violate principles of international law, saying that they clearly demonstrate the weakness and abjection of the arrogant system in the face of the resilience of the Iranian nation and growing strength of the Resistance Front.

The signatories pledged allegiance to Ayatollah Khamenei, saying that they are obliged to act based on his guidelines in foreign policy and international relations.

The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, emphasized the importance of the dignified countering with arrogant powers; a path that continues to be taken by Ayatollah Khamenei who, through power and wisdom, is leading the Resistance Front against the Zionist regime and its arrogant supporters, and holds a distinguished position in the Islamic world and among freedom-seekers across the globe, the statement read.

It said that Trump, through his threats, has violated three main principles of the UN Charter, including the principle prohibiting interference in countries’ internal affairs, the principle prohibiting the use of force, and the principle urging respect for international commitments on countering terrorism.

The signatories called for trial of Donald Trump at international courts for violating international law, supporting terrorism, and threatening global peace and security.

They also called on all Muslims, freedom-seekers, and independent governments across the world to condemn Trump’s law-breaking and threatening behavior, and firmly stand against him./irna
