Iran envoy to Germany: Islamabad talks in line with ‘field of resistance’

The Iranian ambassador to Germany said that the Iranian negotiating team in Islamabad, backed by the resilience of the Iranian people and in line with the "field of resistance," is pursuing the national interests of the Islamic Republic based on the principles of ‘dignity, wisdom, and expediency.’

in a post on his X page on Saturday, Majid Nili Ahmadabadi wrote that the Iranian negotiating delegation, relying on special divine grace and an experience based on the Iranian people's steadfastness, is taking a new step in the arena of national authority.

Referring to the recent war by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, he stated that following the defeat against Iran's capabilities in an unequal battle, eyes are now fixed on a different scene; where negotiation and strategy stand alongside the battlefield.

The ambassador also described the naming of the Iranian negotiating delegation's flight to Pakistan as "Minab 168" as a reminder of a bitter and unforgettable memory, saying that this name honors the memory of students who fell victim to oppressive military aggression and has today become a symbol of both victimhood and resistance.

The talks between high-level Iranian and US delegations officially began in the Pakistani capital on Saturday afternoon after the US partially agreed to Iran’s preconditions for the talks./irna
