Defense Ministry Vows Faster Development of Iran’s Military Equipment

Iran’s Defense Ministry unveiled plans to accelerate the development of equipment, weapons, and systems required by the country’s Armed Forces, stressing that it will continue strengthening Iran’s deterrence and defensive capabilities in the face of enemy threats.

The Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that it considers it its duty to pursue, with greater strength and speed, the production and development of the equipment, weapons, and systems required by the Armed Forces by utilizing the country’s full scientific, industrial, and defense capacities.

The ministry said that at a time when the American and Zionist enemies had sought to weaken the will of the Iranian nation through war, terrorism, pressure, and psychological operations, the continued presence of the people on the scene disrupted all of their calculations and proved that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principal asset is the trust, insight, and steadfastness of the great Iranian nation.

The ministry further said that, alongside the powerful Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it will continue the path of enhancing the country’s deterrence capability and strengthening its defense power with seriousness and determination.
