Iran’s FM Condemns US Aggression in Call with Pakistani Army Chief
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi condemned the US' military aggression against Iran as a flagrant violation of international law and the Islamabad MoU during a telephone conversation with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.
During the phone call on Thursday, Araqchi and Field Marshal Munir discussed the latest regional developments.
The Iranian foreign minister denounced the US military attacks on various parts of Iran as a blatant violation of the UN Charter and a clear breach of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding on the Termination of the War.
He said inflammatory remarks by US officials, coupled with Washington's admission that it is not committed to the memorandum, demonstrate the US' bad faith and its continued pursuit of confrontational and war-driven policies.
Araqchi also warned against any further US military adventurism, stressing that the Iranian nation and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran remain firmly determined to defend the country's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security against any act of aggression./tasnim
