Iran is able to increase gas export to Turkey

According to Ministry of Petroleum, Araqi said that currently Iran is exporting 30 million cubic meters gas to Turkey a day and would augment an extra six million cubic meters a day, if a new contract was signed.

He said that in case of signing a long-term contract between the two countries to increase volume of gas export to Turkey, the national Iranian gas company would prepare necessary infrastructures, according to IRNA.

Araqi said that Iran had exported 2.51 billion cubic meters gas in the first four and half months of the past Iranian year, the amount increased to 2.93 billion cubic meters in the same period of the current year.
