Pakistan trade with Iran to rise to dlrs 5b: Ambassador

EghtesadOnline: Pakistani Ambassador to Tehran Assif Ali Khan Durrani said the trade volume with Iran will rise to dlrs five billion in four years.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, he described Iran as a brother for Pakistan and said both countries keep offering support to each other and enjoy very strong friendly relations.
On Iran’s nuclear agreement with the 5+1, he said the deal has opened up many avenues for tackling problems.
He also said the deal resulted in lowering of sanctions against Iran.
Thanks to the agreement, the ambassador added, a number of problems between the two countries like in banking areas have started to disappear.
Referring to the visit of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Pakistan this year, he noted that agreements in such areas as electricity export, insurance, chambers of commerce, strategic commerce planning, media, medicine, healthcare and tourism were signed between the two countries.
