Iranian javelin throwers win gold, silver medals in Paralympics

EghtesadOnline: Iranian athlete Mohammad Khalvandi snatched a gold medal in the men's javelin throws F57 in 2016 Rio Paralympics Games.
Khalvandi managed to win the gold medal with a throw of 46.12 meters, reports IRNA.
Meanwhile, another Iranian athlete Mohammad Heidari bagged silver medal with a throw of 43.77 meters.
So far the Iranian squad has managed to win three gold medals in 2016 Rio Paralympics Games.
Iran's squad in Rio Paralympic Games consists of 111 athletes comprising 23 women and 88 men.
The 2016 Summer Paralympics, the 15th Summer Paralympic Games, are an upcoming major international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities governed by the International Paralympic Committee, being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 September to 18 September 2016.
Over 4,500 athletes from 175 countries have attended the international event.
