Iranian athlete wins silver in shot put in Paralympics Games

EghtesadOnline: Iranian athlete Sajad Mohammadian snatched the silver medal in the men’s shot put F42 Class in 2016 Rio Paralympics Games on Monday.
Mohammadian recorded a 14.31-meter throw and ranked second in the competition, according to IRNA.
Meanwhile, his British rival claimed gold medal with 15.97 meters.
Iran's squad in Rio Paralympic Games consists of 111 athletes comprising 23 women and 88 men.
The 2016 Summer Paralympics the 15th Summer Paralympic Games, are an upcoming major international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities governed by the International Paralympic Committee, to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 September to 18 September 2016.
Over 4,500 athletes from 175 countries are set to attend the international event.
