Iran wins third place in 2016 Futsal World Cup
EghtesadOnline: Iran won Portugal in 2016 Futsal World Cup third-place finish to claim the third title in the tournament on Saturday.
According to IRNA, Iran’s men’s national Futsal team beat Portugal 4-3 at this tournament held in Coliseo El Pueblo, Cali of Colombia and claimed the third place for the first time.
Iran's best finish has been in fourth place, when they lost to Spain in 1992.
Iran and Portugal lost to Russia and Argentina in the respective semi-final fixtures, which have forced them to face each other in the third-place finish on Saturday.
