Abbas Araqchi, who is also Iran’s deputy foreign minister, objected to the recent remarks made by the US Secretary of State John Kerry who has said Iran’s support for resistance groups is preventing the removal of sanctions on the country’s international banking transactions.

“John Kerry and other American and European officials who claim to have carried out all of their obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action must have forgotten that their commitments were not just the rules about removing sanctions, “Iranian high-ranking official underlined.

According to ISNA, he stated that Kerry’s remarks are wrong and an excuse for the US to avoid carrying its JCPOA commitments, adding the US must permits Iran to access to financial, banking, technology and commerce markets according to its commitments in the JCPOA.

Araqchi reiterated that the US officials must avoid using excuses for obstacles in JCPOA’s implementation.
