Araqchi made the remarks on the sideline of a ceremony to unveil his book on Terrorism and Cyberspace in the Middle East, according to IRNA.

He said that post-sanctions era has opened new chapter for expansion of ties with Europe.

Touching upon the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he said that Europe is changing its stance toward Iran and that a new chapter of cooperation is taking shape between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Europe.

He said that Iran considers terrorism as serious security challenge and that the threat to international peace and security should be thwarted.

Citing Daesh as a global threat in the international arena, Araqchi reiterated that the terrorist group is also considered as a 'direct danger' against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Araqchi said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not allow anybody to dictate stances and decide for Iran.

He focused on terrorism, saying that nobody can understand importance of terrorism as Iranians do.

“Terrorism posed a big danger to mankind. We have been one of the main victims of terrorism and are still so.”
