Iran urges Saudi leaders not to misuse sanctuaries for debased goals

EghtesadOnline: Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi warned the UAE and Saudi leaders not to misuse the Islamic sanctuaries to reach their debased goals.

Qasemi stated that holy places must be respected and cherished , urging the UAE and Saudi leaders not to abuse them for their indecent objective, reports ISNA.

His remarks came following the recent allegation presented by the UAE foreign minister that accused Yemen’s Houthis of firing missile at Mecca.

Iranian official dismissed the allegation and said the recent claim that Yemenis attacked holy Mecca is totally “nonsense”, adding the Saudi leaders must look for other ways to make up their failures and frustration.

He underlined that Yemeni people cherish and respect the sanctuaries more than those who rely on the US and Zionist Regime rather that Islamic Ummah aiming to reach more power.

Iranian official reiterated that those who value their criminal goals more than their sanctuaries would lose their respect among Muslims.
