Tehran strongly condemns terrorist incident in Samarra
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi on Sunday strongly condemned terrorist attack on the innocent pilgrims in Samarra by criminal terrorists.
Qassemi voiced sympathy with the bereaved families of the martyrs and the inured.
According to IRNA, he said Iranian embassy to Iraq had probed into the issue and found out that those martyred or injured in the terrorist incident in Samarra on Sunday morning were pilgrims from provinces of Isfahan, Sistan-Balouchestan and Hormuzgan.
He added that arrangements were made to transfer the injured, who are in grave condition, to hospitals in Kazemein through three helicopters.
The rest of the injured were transferred through ambulances, he noted. 'The bodies of the martyrs of the heinous crime will be transferred to Baghdad after legal procedures.'
Concluding his remarks, he said Iranian Foreign Ministry and Embassy to Baghdad are seriously in efforts to look into the injured.
