Iran Supreme Leader appoints two senior army men
EghtesadOnline: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei replaced two senior Army commanders on Saturday.
The Supreme Leader appointed Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan to the post of Deputy General Commander of Army and Brigadier General Kiumars Heydari as Commander of the Army's Ground Forces.
The replacement was made following the request made by General Commander of the Army Major General, ISNA reported.
The Supreme Leader honored the all-out efforts made by the former deputy general commander of the Army Brigadier-General.
