Special Board Monitoring JCPOA meeting held Wednesday morning
EghtesadOnline: The Special Board Monitoring the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action was held on Wednesday morning with the attendance of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
Iranian president, parliament speaker, foreign minister, defense minister, secretary of Iranian Supreme National Security Council, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran as well as leader advisor and representative are members of the Special Board Monitoring the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
According to IRNA, President Rouhani said on Tuesday that Iran’s Special Board Monitoring JCPOA Implementation will decide on the recent decision by the US Congress on extending anti-Iran sanctions on Wednesday.
His remarks referred to the latest anti-Iran move made by the US Congress that voted on December 1st unanimously on renewal of the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) which is set to be expired by the end of 2016.
He said that even if the US president vetoes parts of the Congress’ decision, Iran will show due reactions to the remaining sections which stand in violation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
Stressing that the US could in no possible manner influence the will of Iran, he said the Iranian nation will never allow the US administration to tear away the nuclear deal.
