Amano: Iran faithful to its JCPOA commitments
EghtesadOnline: The visiting Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukia Amano said he was satisfied with implementation procedure of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
The international nuclear watchdog chief made the remarks in a joint press conference with the head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi here on Sunday.
According to ILNA, he stressed that Iran has been loyal to its commitments to the nuclear agreement so far which is an important issue.
Amano arrived in Iran on Sunday morning on a day-long visit to discuss implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
He is also to meet President Hassan Rouhani later on the day.
This is Amano’s second visit to Tehran. His first trip was on January 17, 2016 a day after implementation of the JCPOA.
