Rouhani: We're neither xenophile, nor xenophobe

'We're neither xenophile, nor xenophobe. We're Muslims, Iranians and revolutionary people,' said the President at the late Imam Khomeini's mausoleum on Monday. 

Attending the Imam mausoleum to renew allegiance to the late Founder of the Islamic Republic on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, President Rouhani stressed the importance of following up the Revolution's great aspirations, IRNA reported.

Imam Khomeini's path was a way to freedom and independence, the president noted while referring to the next presidential election in the country in May, the event in which people elect their desired representatives with their votes.
