FM spox: Iran expects all G7 members to fully comply with JCPOA

EghtesadOnline: Foreign ministry spokesman urged all parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to remain committed to the JCPOA while adhering to the good intention as a prerequisite for endurance of the multilateral document.
In reaction to G7's recent statement in Italy, Bahram Qasemi said that Iran expects full implementation of JCPOA by all the relevant parties in a constructive atmosphere, IRNA reported.
International Atomic Energy Agency has on several occasions reaffirmed Iran’s full compliance with the nuclear deal and now it naturally expects the other parties to fulfill their commitments regarding the JCPOA both in word and practice, including in the sphere of removing sanctions.
Qasemi further pointed out that in the meantime Iran clarifies that its missile defense program is quite distinct from the JCPOA and the nature and way of designing ballistic missiles are such that missile test do not run against the UN Security Council’s 2231 Resolution.
The official also contended that irrespective of western sides’ misunderstandings over nature of Iran’s missile program, it is well aware of its responsibility regarding boosting defense capabilities to safeguard national security and promote regional peace and stability.
