Iran’s volleyball team wins FIVB U19 World Championship title
EghtesadOnline: Iranian men's national under-19 volleyball team exhibited an impressive performance to win the final showdown of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball U19 World Championship in Bahrain.
On Sunday evening, the Iranian team, which had trounced South Korea in straight sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-18) in the semifinals the previous day, managed to prevail over the Russian side 3-1 (20-25, 23-25, 25-21 and 20-25) in the title challenge held in the Bahraini city of Riffa.
According to ISNA, the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship started in Bahrain on August 18, and wrapped up on August 27.
