Peyman Maadi to judge films in Greece festival

EghtesadOnline: Iranian actor, screenwriter and director Peyman Maadi as one of member of an International Jury will judge the films of the 58th Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece.

Τhe 58th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, the largest celebration of cinema in Greece will be held November 2-12, 2017.

According to ISNA, the festival has always paid special attention to Iranian cinema. This year, Peyman Maadi will be among the five-member International Jury and the Iranian film “No Date, No Signature” directed by Vahid Jalilvand will be among 14 films at the competition section of the film festival.

Other Iranian films such as “Disappearance” directed by Ali Asgari, “ISIS Bride” by Morteza Jafari and “Tehran Taboo” by Ali Soozandeh will be screened at the different sections of the film festival.

Meanwhile the 40th Denver Film Festival will be held November 1-12, 2017 in Colorado State.

One Iranian feature film “Disappearance” directed by Ali Asgari and two short films “Heyvan” (AniMal) written and directed by Bahram and Bahman Ark and “Retouch” directed by Kaveh Mazaheri will be screened in 40th Denver film festival.
