The developers say the app will improve and modify children’s relations with the cyberspace and technological products.

The team, which comprises young psychologists, child psychoanalysts and legal and tech experts, is working to minimize the harmful effects of the technology and use its potentials to promote their abilities, character capacities and social skills, Webna reported.

The app is not available for download yet, but the developers say they are finalizing the work and the application will be soon be released on their website, Kangaroo.land, according to Financial Tribune.

To use the tool, parents are required to install the app on their own and their children's cellphones or smart devices. The tool enables parents to monitor their kid's use of their phones by setting time or access limitation for each app installed on their phones. They can also directly or indirectly feed them with educational content.

Children's version of the app includes interactive and educational games, animations, stories and puzzles, which is aimed at developing their social, logical and behavioral skills.

There are no in-app purchases and all the services provided by the application are free of charge.

Kangaroo intends to foster certain types of behavioral habits in kids and teach them how to use their mobile phones. Hence, the application helps save a great deal of time that might have been wasted during the day as smartphones hypnotize children.

Besides the control dashboard, the parents' version of the app includes categorized scientific and psychological content and training plans that can help them understand the approach and enable them to assist their kids to develop positive behaviors associated with the use of smartphones.

Parents can also pose questions that come up during the process, directly to the support group and get instant consultations.
