Stocks Fall

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 18,774.98 points or 0.86% on Sunday to end at 2,176,359 and the TSE equal-weighted index fell 0.85%.

About 9.88 billion shares worth 74.5 trillion rials ($165.53 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Karafarin Insurance Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 299.2% to 3,992 rials per share.
