JCPOA facilitates int'l scientific co-op: deputy minister
EghtesadOnline: Deputy minister of science, research and technology for international affairs announced that the July 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has facilitated scientific cooperation with the world.
At a local meeting here, Hossein Salar Amoli said presence of eight ministers and 93 university chancellors in Iran during the past year confirms that the JCPOA has paved the way for international scientific relations.
In near future, he added, university delegations from France, Austria and Germany are to travel to Iran to hold talks on strengthening scientific relations, according to IRNA.
Adopting proper scientific diplomacy and attracting foreign university students can be fruitful for those relations, he added.
