Dy Minister: Talks underway for export and storage of Iranian gas in Azerbaijan Republic

EghtesadOnline: Deputy Petroleum Minister for Gas Affairs Hamid Reza Araqi said on Monday that an Iranian private company is negotiating with National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) to export and storage Iran gas in reservoirs of Azerbaijan Republic.

Araqi made the remarks in an encounter with reporters on the sidelines of the 50th anniversary of foundation of Iran Gas company.

He outlined Iran's programs for cooperation with countries of the region.

He said that the talks are not exclusively for governments, but the companies and the gas executives.

The 50th anniversary of foundation of NIGC was held in presence of President Hassan Rouhani, Secretary General of Gas Exporting Countries Forum Mohammad Hossein Adeli, Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh and Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.
