UAE government pardons 29 Iranian inmates
EghtesadOnline: Government of the United Arab Emirates pardoned some 29 Iranian nationals passing perison terms in the Emirates, Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular and Expatriates Affairs Hassan Qashqavi said on Wednesday.
Qashqavi said that Iranian diplomatic representations in the UAE closely monitor the conditions of Iranian expatriates living in the country and demand for pardoning Iranian inmates in UAE on different occasions, according to IRNA.
As a result of the efforts by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, a number of Iranian inmates in UAE are pardoned every year by the country's judiciary, Qashqavi said.
