Chinese investors meet with Markazi province industrialists
EghtesadOnline: A group of Chinese investors met with officials and industrialists from Markazi province on Wednesday.
Deputy Governor General for management development and human resources Zafar Afshon said that Markazi province is the fourth industrial pole of Iran with metal industry, non-ferrous minerals, chemicals producing units, food industry, textile and cellulose industries.
He said that there are 31 industrial townships with electricity, water, gas services and access roads in the province and ready for joint venture investment with foreign partners, according to IRNA.
Afshon said that short distance of the central province to Tehran, easy access to railway, airport and safe access roads are the advantages of the province for investment.
The Chinese Investment Company is working on a feasibility study to establish 1,000 hectares Industrial Township in Markazi province.
Considering ideal geographical situation of the province, the possibility for investment in the central province by the Chinese partners is more than other provinces, Afshon said.
He added that more than 2,800 industrial units are active in the province.
