Rouhani: Iran, Cuba resolute to expand bilateral ties
EghtesadOnline: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reiterated that Iran and Cuba are resolute to expand bilateral relations in all fields.
“Grounds have been provided for expanding cultural cooperation and bolstering economic ties more and more after the nuclear agreement. This opportunity should be seized,” he said in a meeting with Cuban President Specal Envoy Ricardo Cabrisas here in Tehran.
He also called for boosting bilateral ties in health and biotechnology, adding the two sides are after expansion of all-out ties, and practical steps are needed for this aim, according to ISNA.
Rouhani continued that Iran is ready for more cooperation with friendly countries like Cuba on key regional and international issues.
Cabrisas, for his part, said Havana is after widening bilateral ties with Havana and removing obstacles to boosting bilateral relations.
He also said that the JCPOA is a victory for Iranian nation and government, and independent countries of the world.
