Armenian ambassador: Iran, Armenia economic cooperation to hike three folds
EghtesadOnline: Armenian ambassador to Tehran Artashes Tumanyan said on Sunday that the current volume of trade exchange between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Armenia would increase three folds.
Iran and Armenia are preparing macro economic plan to be implemented soon which help increase current level of trade three folds, the Armenian ambassador said.
According to IRNA, Armenian ambassador made the remarks in a meeting with Isfahan mayor on Sunday.
The ambassador appreciated Iranian support to the Armenian government in light of the high profile level of diplomatic ties in hard times.
Iran and Armenia have broadened wide-scale cooperation at various levels, the Ambassador said.
The ambassador said that Iran and Armenia have enormous cultural affinities and longstanding ties which have brought the two nations much closer.
Iran is like a concert that Isfahan is regarded as its first and main violin, he said.
About seven thousand of Armenian community live in Isfahan province mostly in Isfahan city.
