203 MPs protests to Bahraini government over violation of human rights of Shia Muslims
EghtesadOnline: Some 203 Members of Parliament issued a statement on Tuesday to support Bahraini people vis-a-vis the Bahraini government crackdown on the Shia Muslim opposition.
The statement was read out by member of Majlis Presiding Board Ahmad Amirabadi in the formal session.
According to IRNA, the statement said that the Muslim and oppressed people in Bahrain are subject to human rights violations, spiteful and anti-human behavior of al-Khalifa kingdom.
They criticized the international organizations for keeping deadly mum and monitoring the crimes of the Bahraini government without taking necessary action.
The MPs, in the meantime, condemned violation of respect the Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmed Qassim and violating civil rights of Bahraini people by the Bahraini government.
They said in a statement that hundreds of other crimes and atrocities perpetrated against children, women and arrest of political and religious leaders indicate the oppression exercised by the Bahraini government.
The statement condemned the Bahraini government for exercising blatant violation of human rights as historical fiasco for the international organizations, the so-called advocates of human rights, and the governments of the US, Saudi Arabia and al Khalifa.
