Iran’s presence in int'l. events upgrades its status: Dep. minister
EghtesadOnline: Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi says Iran’s presence in international events will upgrade country’s status in the world eyes.
Araqchi made the remark while visiting the Secretariat of International Events of Mashhad Municipality.
According to IRNA, he said dedication of an exclusive secretariat for international events, like the session of Model Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is a blessed event.
He said comprehensive plans should be made so that such services are put into operation in the best possible manner.
He added that all international programs of Mashahd Municipality are cultural, social, economic and media background.
Mashahd metropolitan city has been named by ISESCO as the cultural capital of the world of Islam in 2017.
The 4th International Model OIC was held in Mashahd from Saturday to Wednesday.
