Iran, Serbia sign agreement on culture, sports and science
EghtesadOnline: Serbian Culture Minister Vladan Vukosavljević and the head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman inked agreement on cultural, scientific, educational, sports and youths fields.
The 3-year agreement was sealed based on both countries' convention on educational, scientific and cultural affairs.
Torkaman said that Iran and Serbia will attempt to implement articles of the agreement which contribute to cooperation in keeping archives, holding cultural weeks and film festivals, reports IRNA.
Vukosavljević also described the agreement as a strategic document and as a good day in Iran-Serbia cooperation.
Exchanging cultural delegations to get familiar with activities of cultural institutions, transferring information on art and media festivals and exchanging small music and theater groups are examples of the agreement articles.
Iran is the special guest of the 61st Belgrade International Book Fair which is underway up to October 30.
