Iran, Serbia underline deepening parliamentary ties
EghtesadOnline: President of the National Assembly of Serbia Maja Gojkovic on Friday called for deepening of parliamentary ties with Iran.
She made the remarks in a meeting with outgoing Iranian Ambassador to Belgrade Majid Fahimpour, reports IRNA.
She said that she held constructive talks with Iranian officials during her recent visit to Tehran.
Gojkovic called for promoting cooperation between the two countries parliamentarian friendship committees.
The Iranian envoy said that Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani will pay a visit to Belgrade and that the two parliaments have key role to boost relations of the two countries.
Iran and Serbia have signed eight cooperation documents in various fields including agriculture, tourism, culture, the envoy said.
