Zarif: Bloodshed in Syria and Yemen should be halted

According to IRNA, Zarif made the remarks in a press encounter.

He told reporters after his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam that he reviewed issues of mutual interests and the regional developments with the prime minister.

Speaking to reporters, Zarif said that the humanitarian crises in Syria and Yemen should be resolved through political means. 

The visit was a suitable opportunity and I would like to congratulate the Lebanese people on election of the president. 

'We will see formation of the new Lebanese government,' he said.
