Majlis speaker calls for investigation on trains crash
EghtesadOnline: Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani in a letter to Head of Majlis Development Commission Mohammad Reza Rezaei Kochi urged him to send a committee to the crash scene to investigate the disaster and prepare a report on it.
Larijani in his letter referred to the sad accident which resulted in deaths of dozens of passengers, stressing that after the investigations, the commission should present the final report of the crash to Majlis very soon.
According to IRNA, trains destined from Tabriz-Mashad and Mashad-Semnan collided at Haftkhan Station between Shahroud and Damqan on November 25.
