President Rouhani congratulates Nicaraguan president on re-election
EghtesadOnline: President Hassan Rouhani, in a message on Tuesday to his Nicaraguan counterpart Daniel Ortega, congratulated him on re-election to the post.
In his message, President Rouhani expressed hope that Iran and Nicaragua will witness further expansion of relations in President Ortega's new tenure in office.
According to IRNA, Rouhani wished health and success for President Ortega and prosperity for the Nicaraguan people.
The results of Nicaraguan presidential elections released on November 7 showed that Ortega was elected president for a third consecutive term.
