Iran, Italy ink agreement on expanding academic collaboration
EghtesadOnline: Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Italian University of Florence signed a memorandum of understanding on expanding joint scientific cooperation.
Professor Patrizia Zagnoli, Faculty member at University of Florence, Italy told in an exclusive interview that earlier in 2014, Italian officials underscored the vitality of bolstering Iran-Italy ties and starting a new round of academic cooperation in Tehran, ISNA reported.
“And now we came here to Mashhad for increasing our scientific and academic exchange with Iran.”
Zagnoli went on to say that: “Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is one of the largest higher education institutions in Iran and we decided to discuss cooperation on exchange of professors and students, holding of joint courses and workshops, conducting joint research projects, joint conferences and congresses. “
Professor Zagnoli also had a Workshop on Sports and Trade in department of sport sciences at Ferdowsi University.
She admitted that Italy put Iran in top list collaboration for cultural and academic field.
Since 2008 she is the Head of the Sport Management Lab at the same University.
