Iran, Austria expand cooperation on energy

In Iran- Austria Energy Committee which was held in Tehran, officials from both sides discussed the roadmap for Iran-Austria cooperation on energy.

Austria’s leading energy companies showed their willingness to participate in Iran’s energy projects and their interest was welcomed by Iranian officials during the fruitful meeting, ISNA reported.

Austrian sides underlined the necessity of cooperation in renewable energy sector and suggested offering training in the field.

Cooperation in energy saving, exploration and development, research and training projects, as well as environmental issues and gas exports to Europe in addition to making investment in oil and gas projects were the main subjects of the meeting.
