MP: Iran supports peace and security in the region
EghtesadOnline: Head of Iran- Bosnia Herzegovina parliamentary friendship group Mohammad Reza Tabesh said on Tuesday that Iran supports every move to restore sustainable peace and security in the region.
He made the remarks in meeting with Bosnian Ambassador to Tehran Kamal Muftich.
Tabesh expressed pleasure with growing trend of communication between the two countries, saying that there are plenty of capacities in different fields in Iran and Bosnia, to be used in line with mutual interests, IRNA reported.
He said that cultural and tourist exchanges between the two countries are important way to expand ties.
The MP underlined necessity for regular consultations and reciprocal meetings of senior officials of the two Muslim states.
Kamal Muftich underlined expansion of political, cultural and economic ties between the two countries, saying that longstanding ties and cultural affinities prepared appropriate ground for promotion of mutual relations.
He said that establishment of parliamentary friendship group is a sign for interest of parliamentary officials of the two countries to develop ties between parliaments of Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
