President Rouhani congratulates Niger National Day

EghtesadOnline: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Monday congratulated President of the Republic of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou on the country's National Day.

In a message to the Niger President on Monday, he voiced hope for promotion of two countries' cooperation through joint efforts.

According to IRNA, President Rouhani expressed his congratulations to the country's president, government and people on the Niger National Day which marks the founding of the Republic and creation of the Presidency of the Republic of Niger in 1958. Nigeriens consider that date to be the founding of their national institutions .

The Iranian President in his message prayed god for health and success of Niger president and the welfare and dignity of Niger people.

The Republic Day is a national holiday in the Republic of Niger.
