Iran Supplies 1% of World Flower Markets
EghtesadOnline: Iran exports about 7,000 tons of flowers, ornamental plants and herbal medicines annually, supplying close to 1% of the global markets, the deputy agriculture minister for horticultural affairs said.
“Around 2,200 hectares of land are currently under the cultivation of flowers and ornamental plants,” Mohammad Ali Tahmasebi was also quoted as saying by ILNA.
